At this moment, a team from the Seventh Department of the Seventh Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation did not have time to feel the afterglow of early spring and was urgently loading vehicles in an empty space in the industrial zone. Their gaze was firm and powerful, and for this group of young people, it was a significant "breakthrough" that was about to be ushered in after more than a year of hard work. With the footsteps of spring, the team embarked on a brand new journey.

Confront the 'most complex' with 'never give up'

On the site, the designers were checking the details one by one against the list. The list was densely packed with over 370 items, and the products were loaded onto seven large trucks. Jingjing is the overall designer of the platform for this project, and he is commanding the site in an orderly manner without any negligence. He introduced that this project is the most complex project ever designed by the Seventh Institute, with the largest number of personnel, products, and various equipment in history. Any omission of any item will affect the progress of the entire experiment, so every link must be done with 100% dedication.

Such a massive system means that the probability of various problems occurring also increases exponentially. Last year, the team conducted nearly 50 experiments of various sizes, and the hardships along the way can be imagined. The overall structural designer Zihao has a deep understanding of this. He pointed to a part of the structure of the product shell and said, "During the testing in September last year, there was a sudden problem here. In order not to affect the progress, everyone worked overtime throughout October to analyze the cause. That time was very agonizing. We compared and argued repeatedly day and night, but we couldn't give up. Finally, within a month, we found suitable materials, changed the design scheme, and met the testing conditions within the planned time

Products must be seen as they are believed, and work must be done with strictness, caution, and meticulousness. This has allowed us to avoid many disruptive problems. However, it is not impossible to make mistakes. We should discover problems in a timely manner, handle them in a timely manner, and maintain a never give up attitude. The team should work together to find solutions. I believe there is no difficulty that cannot be solved, "said Xi Bo, the project leader.

The product has been returned to the factory, equipment has malfunctioned, code errors have occurred, and people have fallen ill, but the overall progress of the project has never been delayed. In order to ensure the smooth delivery of the product, everyone has put in a lot of effort and gone all out. This maiden flight is not only a milestone node of the project, but also an important test of the team's preliminary work.

Unity is the greatest confidence

Due to the large size of the system, the project team consists of over 10 overall designers. In order to ensure information sharing, we have agreed to hold a "meeting" every Friday, which will be held every day during the special period. This gradually became a tradition of the project team.

Although each has its own division of labor, the connections between products are complex. If we only focus on our own work, there may be hidden dangers that are difficult to discover. Meetings provide a platform for communication, allowing everyone to share their current work progress and difficult problems encountered. Through communication, hidden dangers that may not be discovered by ourselves can be revealed and avoided in advance. This is also the experience brought to us by previous projects, "said Jingjing.

Xiaohui is the overall platform designer in charge of control in the project. Last July, the project officially entered the standalone and system debugging phase. Due to the adoption of a new communication method, there is a lack of experience in this area, and various resource conflicts such as insufficient supply of supporting unit products and time conflicts for debugging and testing personnel have posed great obstacles to the progress of the work as planned. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the work, Xiaohui developed nearly 50 debugging plans based on product preparation before debugging, and dynamically adjusted them in real time. Each member of the team worked together to complete the work with quality and quantity, continuously recording the progress of debugging every day, greatly improving debugging efficiency.

A large number of products will inevitably result in extremely complex data links. Liang Jie, Man Yin, and Zi Wei formed the data link team of the project, responsible for extremely important communication work. Since the launch of the large-scale experiment in September last year, the three of them have hardly taken a break. "After finishing their own part of the debugging, they also need to guide the supporting units to debug, and finally carry out system joint debugging. Every night, the security guards come to patrol, and we are all still here, except for living in the debugging room," Manyin joked. "But everyone has no complaints, and the three of us also support each other. I remember one time, my family was hospitalized, and during that time, Sister Liang and Ziwei took turns to take over the shift for me. Ziwei silently helped me configure all the computer equipment. It wasn't until I came back and opened the computer that I realized that it saved a lot of time for work. It was really a big surprise

As long as we unite as one, we can conquer towering mountains. It is precisely because everyone has a common goal that they can unite and cooperate to produce the effect of "1+1>2" regardless of the difficulties and obstacles encountered on the pipeline. They vividly demonstrate the spirit of aerospace through practical actions.
